Gun Rith Menhir is located to the side of a field and almost overgrown by a hedge. It is close to the Tregiffian burial chamber and approx 400 yards away from The Merry Maidens Stone Circle.
This impressive menhir is thought to be connected to The Merry Maidens; possibly as a viewing point to watch the famous stone circle from at different times of the year, during certain solar activity.
